Registered Dental Assistant Course and Exam

The Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) now requires dental assistants to take and pass an examination in the areas of dental radiology, infection control and jurisprudence.

Dental Careers Foundation along with CCCC has been selected to be on theTSBDE Approved Provider list, and now is proud to offer the Resistered Dental Assistant Course and Exam.

The certification exam will be given at the conclusion of class.

This educational program is designed to provide dental assistants with the information necessary to prepare for the examination.

• Infection Control  This course is designed to help prepare the Dental Assistant for the Texas Infection Control Exam.  The student will learn the CDC Infection Control standards, waste management, disease control techniques, and standard precautions to prevent cross contamination.
• Jurisprudence   This course is designed to help prepare the student to take the Texas Jurisprudence Exam.  Licensing, relevant legal terminology, and ethics will be addressed in a lecture format.
• Radiology   This course is intended to help prepare the student to take the Texas Radiography Exam.  The student will develop working knowledge of all areas of dental radiography.
